The Gates Super HC 5VX560 is a high-performance, narrow-profile molded notch V-belt designed for industrial heavy-duty drives where space and weight are limited. It features a notched construction that provides up to three times the horsepower capacity of classical V-belts in the same drive space.
These reduce thermal and bending stresses, allowing the belt to run on smaller diameter pulleys while minimizing noise.
The polyester tensile cords are vulcanized as a single unit to ensure equal load distribution and high resistance to fatigue and shock loads. Precision-ground sidewalls ensure a uniform wedging action and proper seating in pulley grooves to reduce slippage and wear.
