It is chemically treated (Red/Extra Hard) to provide maximum aggression when removing heavy oxidation, scratches, and pitting from aluminum, stainless steel, and brass. Brand: Keystone Polishing Model: 90066 The unique pleated "airway" design allows air to flow through the wheel, keeping the metal surface cool and preventing heat warping or "burning" the finish. The D-50 chemical treatment makes this wheel significantly firmer than standard cotton buffs, allowing you to level metal surfaces faster with less pressure. Comes ready for 5/8" spindles and includes a 1/2" reducer bushing, making it compatible with almost any bench grinder, polisher, or lathe. 16-ply biased-cut cotton resists fraying and ensures a uniform wear pattern for a longer service life. Use with Brown Tripoli or Black Emery for best results.
